Party/ Celebration
Celebrating with friends and family is always fun, whether it is a birthday, engagement party or Christmas and other festive celebrations. Seeing people that you haven’t seen for months or sometimes years is an exciting time. Or is it? Do you dread going to parties because you only have one outfit in your wardrobe that fits? We have some of those in our wardrobe too! So what can you do rather than feel fed up, which may prompt you to eat more? First, sit down with a pen and paper and plan how many weeks you have until the celebration day and then set your self a realistic target. Realistic is the key word.
In situations like this it’s human nature to want to lose weight fast and therefore we normally starve ourselves in the first few days and then give up because we are so hungry.
Then what happens? We binge on the foods we told ourselves were out of bounds. And so the cycle continues.
So rather than start a fad diet, follow a sensible eating plan and commit to increase your exercise too. You need to expend more calories than you consume!
